Overview
We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, Product, Development, and DevOps, to design, execute, and maintain robust test suites, driving quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases across multiple client configurations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Perform manual testing for functional and user acceptance validation based on user stories and product requirements.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and ensure requirement clarity for effective testing.
- Work with developers to identify, log, and track defects, and help drive resolutions through root cause analysis.
- Participate in Agile methodologies — including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured and validate backend workflows.
- Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and provide insights into quality metrics and release readiness.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting QA best practices and process improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging QA trends, frameworks, and automation technologies to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in test automation.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of mobile testing (Android/iOS).
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium preferred).
- Good knowledge of API testing, SQL queries, and test data management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, quality-first mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
